backup problem on dvdx copy

I backup the movie snow white (for my kid) on dvdx copy i have the newest version of dvdx copy the problem is when i play the movie it only plays for about 2mins it goes up to the menu and thats it. Got sony dru-500 the dvd-r i use is verbatim and used no setting on dvdxcopy.
