How are the ikebana dvd recorders? I see one 4x internal on sale... here.
How do they compare to the recommended pioneer or sony brands?

Buy a decent drive like a Pioneer Ao4 (very cheap nowadays) or A05 or a Sony DRU-500A. Stay away from this crap!

By the way, I love the "PS3" :p

I sure am. You just pay for the ps1 and I'll throw in the magical foil and rubber duckie that transforms it into the highly coveted ps3.:D
