dvdx copy

can someone please help, i downloaded dvdxcopy & im having problems e.g-the recording always stops half way through.
&
can you record with dvdxcopy straight from the harddrive & if so how

Need some more info to be able to help. What version dvdxcopy? What os you running? What burner are you using? Are you using another drive to read the disc other than the burner? What media?
