quick media question

i have a version 7 ps2 with a magic3. should i use verbatim DVD-R or DVD+R?

for what i have read here, v7 will read dvd+r however, the prefered ones are dvd-r,,, which all versions are able to read...

Not always......

The rule of thumb is that V5 thru V7 are more likely to read the +R/+RW format......

The -R/-RW format is more easily read by the older PS2's than the +R/+RW format.....

To be on the safe side...... I would suggest that you use the -R discs.....

I use dvd-r on my v7 with no probs at all.
