unlocking drive

How do I unlock my drive. I get the error with every ripper program i use?!
Can someone tell me what to do?!

Also What is the best dvd-divx program?

You need to set your drive region. What drive you got? Try Virtualdub (http://www.dvdrhelp.com/avi2divx.htm) for dvd 2 divx.

I used that dvd-decrypter. So i got the image on the HD.
I downloaded Virtual Dub and that doesn't even view dvd files.
So i used DVDx, when i tried to start the encoding it crashed and its still mentioned the drive being locked even though the image is on the HD?!
