can anyone help me out!!!! i just baught a copy of tenchu 3 for the ps2 and want to make a backup before i let my kid get his mucky paws on the original but am having some serious diffs with ripping it on to a cdr!!! (i ain't got the cash to buy a dvd burner just yet) :(
i have tried to few times to rip it but can't seem to get it downsized enough to fit on one cdr.
if anyone could give me some help on this i would greatly apperciate it :D

Go here (http://ps2modz.cjb.net/) to find the PAL version rip kit. You will have to create an account to be able to download off this site, but its quick and easy. If thats not the one you need (and you have NTSC version) then use it to familiarize yourself with what was done to rip the PAL version and use those techniques to rip the NTSC version.

If you still cant do it yourself, just wait someone there will get an NTSC version out.

i got the rip kit and gave it a go though i can't seem to get it to work and the read me is in german so i am still stuck but hey i wouldn't have expected anything less with this game! i think it was released just to ruin my life he he

This is a translation of the German read me file.... It is broken english BUT you may be able to work through it....

It is all the same on which non removable disk you the Game ribs wants. Copy all files of the DVD with ISOBUSTER into a file, e.g.: "SLES_50679" the Patch must completely in the same file unpacked to become! Then you press on "" RipFE.EXE" "! The there simply following Buttons presses:

# (01) =pal/eng = - (presses here for the English version) ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- > # (01) =pal/ger = - (presses here for the German version)
# (02) =dvd check = -
# (03) =rip files = -
# (04) =I S O = -
Then the finished ISO with CDR/WIN burn. (CD-Rome-xa Mode2) Much fun with the zocken.
HP: If you cannot burn with CDR/WIN, you must do the following:

ISO convert with CD-mage
thus you open CD Mage. Go on file, then on open, then you select the ISO provided by the Patch. Then you press M1/2048 TRACK (* iso) on open. then with right mouse button up: TRACK 1 [ MODE1/2048 ], and on "Extract TRACK..." then waehlste from where you the new ISO to store want. With "EXTRACT TRACK Mode2/2352" "waehlste". Then only on "EXTRACT" press. Are waiting............. The new ISO with NERO burn.

Burn with NERO
for it open if you Nero, then you go "breaking off" first times on. then on the left of above to file, and then on "attitudes" then on "expert attitude" there you make with "would pour over disc RK once cds permit" one hook and with "maximum CD lengthen:" """ "99" """ min then on OK ONE. Then again left above to "file". Then on "CD image burn..." Then you select the converted ISO. With "type of the image" you select "data mode 2". And with "block size byte" you select "2352". Then you go on OK ONE! Then it burns on CD!

Burn with NERO EXPRESS
thus open Nero. then go you on "more" then on "furnishing" then on "expert attitude" make there you with "would pour over disc RK once cds to permit" one hook and with "maximum CD lengthen:" """ "99" """ min then on OK ONE. Then you come up: "disk image or stored project". Then a "opening window" opens, there comes up you down with "type of file": "all files (*.*), and the ISO provided by the Patch selects out is actually unnecessary, must however be selected, there otherwise the error message" unexpected file format "comes then with the next window, with image file, clicks you right on the Button with"... ", then appears "file select - windows", there you come up down with "type of file": "(*.*), and the ISO converted with CD Mage selects all files out then comes up you down right" far ones - > "then opens" attitudes for foreign image file windows ", there select you "type of the image" naturally: "you select data mode 2" and with "block size (byte)": "2352". Are waiting then on "OK ONE",...........................
