I have already backed up the cd but when I am installing, it says that it has an error and I dont know what it is. It says something like "Component not found=map........" Some help..

That error you are getting is not because of the protection on cd2 (which it has none anyway). Try copying the cd again or reinstalling from the original.

It seems you have maked a bad copy.
Make a new image from your original-cd and burn it with lower (4x) speed !!!
