I Need Help With Cracks!

Ok, i need to insert a crack in a data1.cab, i need to kno how to do this. i downloaded several programs such as i6comp.exe and others, and i have no idea how to use them!! or if u have any things i can do to insert the crack into the data1.cab file. please help :D

Winace and Winzip open(and test for errors) normal cabs these days. Open the cab and insert the crack in.

There are some program that can extract files from a installshield .cab file. But I think those program are illigal so i don't gonna name it. A tip use google to read more about it ;)
