when a disc errors out...

does that mean the disc was physicialy bad? i'm just about through my first 50 riteks and 5 of them errored out. does that just mean those ones were defective?

Does the error occur during the "reading" of the game or when you are actually "burning" the game????

burning, i'm not 100% use but i belive it always errors out at the first part where its "initilizing disc"

Have you burned good copies before or is it a new DVD writer? I had the same problem, but I would get just past the initializing setup. It turned out that I had my DVD-R and my CD-R on the same channel. I had to remove my CD-R and leave the DVD-R on its own cord. I don't know if that will help, but I've been going fine ever since.

no all 50 on the same drive same setup, just 5 of them errored out at what i belive is the same spot(not sure as i dont stare at the screen for an hour waiting for the disc to burn :D ). the other 45 work perfectly
