PS2 light gun games on sony wega tv

Hello,
I have a sony wega 40" tv and I tried unsuccessfully to get a light gun to work with house of the dead2 on a dreamcast. The gun, however, would work on other tv's. I am a big fun of light gun games, and was wondering if anyone had trouble or some pointers on using a lightgun with the PS2 and a Sony Wega TV.

I'm in the US, so please let me know your experience, but also specify if you have NTSC/Pal (overseas for me).

I seriously doubt the GunCons would work on that TV if other light guns didn't.

you can now get light guns that will work with tv's that run 100hz
try liksang i think they do them most guns are for standard 50/60hz tv's

If you have a dx100 and a few other 100hz sony sets (fq75 i think) then you can actually turn the screen down to 50hz.

Nice thing on sony sets! It's in the picture menu somewhere.
