NTSC to PAL PS2 info please

hi i have just had a friend bring me a game from US in NTSC format and my PS2 is a PAL console, the ps2 has had a Neo chip put in it, is there any way to make my machine recognise the game or is the game useless on my machine.

You need to apply an NTSC to PAL patch. You should be able to find your patch here (http://www.psx-paul.pwp.blueyonder.co.uk/patches.htm)
