well men i've just been out and spent 245 of our great english pounds on the pioneer A05 to backup my PS2 games. now men i need your help. BEST SOFTWARE FOR THE JOB?. ps i also want to backup some of my dvd films.

I use RecordNow Max 4.5 for PS2 DVD games.

And I use DVD X Copy for movies.

what does the DVD decrypter do?

It rips the files froma DVD and puts them on your hard drive.

DVD X Copy will do all that too. It's a more simplistic way to back-up DVD movies.

I dont have a DVD-recorder... :(

But if you search the forum you see that most people uses PRIMO for backing up PS2-DVD-Games...

sp4m, you can rip games if you don't have a dvd burner. Ripping games isn't the greatest thing in the world but it's a temporary solution until you get a dvd burner. You can find your ripping needs here (http://www.psx-paul.pwp.blueyonder.co.uk/patches-ripping.htm)
