hi i just grabbed a copy of hitman 2 and burned it successfully with dvd decrypter like i always do.
it loads up very slowly with lots of reading errors and noises.
i was wondering if it's because of the media i'm using ( i know it's cheap but i've managed to back up mgs2 successfully on them) or because the original got some scratches on it.
if it's from the media can anyone suggest me a good place where to buy verbatim or traxdata media that delivers to Malta ( that's in europe beneath sicily for those of you who don't have a clue where's malta)?

It could be a combination of both. I would go to a local store and buy a couple different discs before buying online just to make sure it's not just a problem with the original game.

i've tried lots of dvd-r's and i wasted lots of money on them...
i found lots of crap media here
i found even good media like pioneer and maxell but they'r too expensive...the pioneer r more than $8 each.
i can't find any verbatim media to test on and not even traxdata.
i heard these work very well with ps2
i found some uk sites that got good prices but they won't deliver to my country
i tried bigpockets and another 2 i don't remember.
so anyone knows a site that delivers toMalta??

How do you get dvd decrypter to backup PS2 games
that program is for DVD Movies

Why not try Record Now or Prassi Primo DVD. They are FAR better for burning PS2 games. Exactly how the hell do you manage to burn them with DVD Decrypter?

Definitely sounds media problem to me.

Traxdata or DVDMaster is the way ahead, don't bother with verbatim, vastly overpriced for wot they are and not that great.

DVDDecrypter is okay for backing up PS2 dvd games but PrimoDVD or Stomp Record Now Max the best.

Try HERE (http://www.wcwmedia.com) for Traxdata. There was a shortage recently and prices went sky high but seem to be back down to normal.

Don't waste any more money on dodgy dvd-r media. Always use Traxdata,DVDMaster or any dvd that uses Ritek Dark purple dye and you won't b wasting any more money.
