And another way:-

1. DVD Decrypter

2. DVD2One

3. Nero (make sure you have the latest version 5.5.10.7 or you won't get a "true" DVD)

This method gets all movies onto a single DVD-R with no noticable loss of quality.

What do you mean by a "true" DVD ?

Apparentl there was a bug in Nero which made the resulting DVD not being a 100% compatible DVD and therefore was not playable in some DVD Players.

They have fixed the bug in V5.5.10.7.

I just got this burner, and have to say I'm not impressed yet. So far, it only burned 1 of my games right.

I tried to play a movie and it simply will not read it. I tried 2 different one, Armitage 3 and Final Fantasy. I also tried to copy them with software like dvdx and recordnow max. Still errors reading it when I copy or try to play it, but it can read all the files when I browse it in windows explorer.

I searched and searched, found no update or new drivers to download (im running winXP).

Does anybody have experiance on this drive, as I am stuck and have no idea whats going on. I can't backup movies, due to reading probs.

If it won't even play a dvd correctly, get a refund or exchange. Unless you really need the ability to burn to both +r and -r, I highly recommend you get a Pioneer. I have heard much fewer problems/complaints with Pioneer burners. I love mine :D

What version of DVDXCopy are you using? V1.4.1 is the latest.

I've had problems with sound on disc 2 with my PS2 and some DVD players. I think the sound ends up on a different audio channel.

That's why I prefer to use DVD2One and keep everything simple on one disc.
