Dual Shock controller doesnt work on some games....

I have a madcatz dual shock controller. But found another game that it doesnt work on - Ghost Recon. My original Sony PS2 dual shock controller works but this Madcatz doesnt. The controller works on most games but i think it doesnt work on Madden03 either. Anyone know why? whats the deal??

I had the same problem with my ps1 and third party controllers with some games. You pay less for third party but they tend to be more troublesome them official Sony products.

speaking of dual shock controllers......my original dual shock that came with my ps2 doesnt work anymore and the red light is even on and i check in the games to make sure it says dual shock on, maybe by puttin in a chip i broke it or something or it just broke by itself i dunno. my friends dual shock works on his ps2 and his red light doesnt even go on! but he doesnt have a chip because he's ball-less and afraid to spend money lol
