Read the sticky titled 'VLUKA's faq'. It's full of interesting copy information about among others Alcohol120% , plus it's hosted on Alcohol120%'s forums. And yes, it's better than CloneCD. Most of all, because Alcohol does the same thing as CLoneCD and Daemon Tools united. It costs money to register, but I can guarantee you it's worth it.

Well, the software alone cannot guarantee a perfect safedisc 2 copy, you have to have a safedisc 2 compatible burner too. Go to this page (http://www.elby.ch/english/products/clone_cd/writers/a.html), pick the make of your writer in the left column and check out the models in the right. If you can't find your make there, try to discover what your drive uses internally (most manufacturers just put a new case around another firms' electronics). Your drive has to have two sheep to work with safedisc 2, anything else won't work well enough. If you don't have a safedisc 2 compatible burner (I don't), you can always make a hard disk image with CloneCD or Alcohol120%. This image can compressed with winrar and the .rar archive can be put on the cd. This will give you a backup, where you only have to use the intermediate step of installing Alcohol120%/Daemon Tools, extracting the image and mounting it. It's not as handy, but it'll work (I've done this to make a backup of my original bf1942 cd's).

You need two sheeps in the 'Correct EFM-encoding column'. A grey sheep is NO sheep at all, I think. There are not many burners who do perfect EFM-encoding, maybe one of the regulars here can suggest a make/model ?

CloneCD finally makes 2.80 copies, but Alcohol120% was there WAY earlier. They seem to be really on the ball, just like CloneCD was years ago.

ya i love it...way better than clonecd...the fact that it does the same as clone and daemon tools with mounting the virtual drives is a nice touch...
