Hi, all
I have been looking for an installer in my nearby for my V7 pal ps2, ... no success,

I am going for a NoSolder Mod .. can you brieve what problems I may encounter (except not being able to playing rips, and having to deal always with the swap procedure) ???
thanks,
ah, .. a PS2 company told me that they don't sell NoSolder because it may ruin my console, .!!! that'2 why they are only offering (SolderChips) .... is it right ??? or they are just telling me so coz they don't have NoSolder `????

last: anyone has the V7 PS2 PAL (SCPH 39004) with NoSolder ModChip ???? please send your feedbacks ...

The No solder won't destroy your ps2 laser like the neo chips will...However, I have heard that Sony has cleverly made it so that the Gameshark or Action Replay disc won't work for the swap on a V7. Spend the extra money, buy a messiah 2 and you'll never regret it.

I have a V7 PAL PS2 and just yesterday installed a No Solder Mod Chip from ModChip World (http://www.modchipworld.co.uk) i've tried it with 2 games so far (Virtua Fighter 4 and Marvel vs. Capcom 2) and they both work perfectly! It was realloy easy to install and only took about 5 minutes and I have had no problems what so ever with it so far!

I'm currently using a version 7 with no solder. orion is right though. You can only use swap magic 2 boot disks on a version 7 machine as the action replay (Regardless of which version using) somehow knows a double swap has been made on a version 7. Thus not booting any games.
