View Full Version : Ritek.......About a $1.00???

Taking bighap's advice I checked out www.rima.com and found Riteks for about a buck each.......Of course I saw a couple on ebay for almost two bucks from prestoshopper......I read that he just raised his prices......... What should I look for when buying these riteks....Are there different bottoms? Tops? Print-on Tops?

So many questions.........Hopefully I will be an expert and stop bothering everyone with questions.....and perhaps start supplying some answers myself....

Make sure they say they are geniune Riteks or shows G03. Should have silver tops and dark purple bottoms. Try looking at www.allmediaoutlet.com and/or www.shop4tech.com both have free shipping and good prices. Ihave ordered from both and got G03. They are very good media!

I just saw they raised prices too! that sucks. Isn't the price of technology supposed to decrease!?

I used to buy 100 from shop4tech for $85 shipped, now they are $100!!!

A side note about Prestoshopper on ebay.......

He did raise his prices on the 1X Riteks.....:(

BUT..... He lowered the prices on his 4X Riteks......:)

The 4X you can pick up for about $179.00 for 100 of them.....

Not too bad for 4X media......:D

Do you guys usually burn at 4x.....I got that Cendyne 4X......

Just wondering if there were any problems burning that fast....

One way to tell if they are real Ritek or G03 is load the blank DVDr in DVD Decrypter and set it on iso read. The disc info will appear at the right.

I have had perfect results burning at 4X on the Riteks with my A05.....

I have also burned at 4X on Verbatim....... and they SUCK......

Wot is it wiv price raises at mo.

The guy I get my traxdata off has trebled the price of them cos they are difficult to get at mo. Complete T*ss*r.

I usually use DVDMaster 2X or Traxdata 1X. These work great every time but r getting scarce at mo due to shortage in Taiwan or some other lame excuse.

i guess the prices whent up because everywhere is sold out! i cant find them instock anywhere but ebay and its 60bux for a 50 pack that i paid 45 for just a bit ago :(
