Unreal II no-cd

When I install the crack on my system and run the game I get no sound during the intro and then the game crashes after the intor part where the camera zooms to the office. Is anyone else having these problems or know how to fix them?

No problems here with the crack. Try turning EAX off in the Options Menu, if you have not done so already. Its a known culprit with this game. Or if you do not want to turn it off, theres an updated EAX file somewhere over at the official site/forums.

Yeah I downloaded the patch but it didn't help any. The game still crashes after the guy enters the office

Try lowering the sound acceleration slider in dxdiag.exe. SB live drivers are notoriously buggy (I got one) and experimenting with the slider helps a lot.
