Can any one help, I'm trying to get my PS2 to work on my vga monitor. Ive tried the Logic 3 VGA AV adapter one but it sucks. I want to keep the pc hooked up and run the both of them through my external speakers. Is there anyone out there who know if theres a good solution.

Taken from my latest issure of PSM:

Sereral companies are now starting to announce "true" VGA adapters for the PS2 that supposedly work with any game, not just those that offer progressive scan output options. These devices, on the way from Blaze and Pelican, among others, use a special cable and software disc to "trick" the PS2 into outputting a real 640x480 signal that can be viewed on any VGA compatible monitor or television. Expect a full report shortly.

cheers for the reply, I'm sure there's loads of people out there itching to get a decent picture on the old pc with minimal effort while the MRS hogs the TV to watch happy old Eastenders.

Go to Lik-sang. I purchased the Sagestar YpBSpr (!) VGA box from them and it's good. The Blaze one I had but it was utter cack! Bloody big yellow bar on my screen! Also because the monitor has such a fine dot pitch the games ended up looking really aliased (jaggy). The Sagestar one makes games looks just like your playing on a TV with Scart or S-video. Anyway www.liksang.com for more info :-)
