There's an additional check since v1.2 that makes it harder to play mods with a crack, some of the v1.2 cracks had the same problems. If you really want to play mods, either wait until the right crack comes out or use Daemon Tools/Alcohol120%.

Hi
With my cd's it work's fine, but not with the NO-CD-Crack. I cant activate a mod directly in Game. It crashas alway's to Desktop. But i have found a Solution: I can start DesertCombat with the shortcut from the desktop. That will work without problems!!! but i cant change back to bf1942. I have to quit the game an lunch it with shotcut from desktop. Somone have to fix that plz...

I prefer All Seeing Eye for looking and launching my games and mods.
Gamespy is spyware and email spamware.

The no cd DOES work with Desert Combat.
Just play it with ASE or launch the mod with the shortcut it created inside start > programs > Desert Combat Public alpha
Enjoy!
My first post here, by the way. :)

GCW is god-sent, copy protection sucks badly. :D You should see the other newbies here. God we need more of your type :D All I ask is that they read the bloody rules before they make their first post, so there's at least a CHANCE that they don't break the rules with their very first post. But nooooooo... Anyway welcome to the community :D
