Cool thanks BH. My neighbor now wants a modchip since he has seen mine. But i'm gonna install the no-solder swap disc mod since i dont feel like solder 23 wires like i did on mine.

its a v5 or a v6 the only way to tell for sure is open the ps2 and see what bios it has

I also was told to open it up and check the connector. If its right side up its one version and if its upside down then its the other version.
