Online patch Generals PART II

It seems the C&C: Generals Online-Patch [ENGLISH] No-CD/Fixed EXE from MaX doesn't work now Generals version 1.2 has been released. When I do exactly everything as described in the manual/NFO, Generals downloads the 1.2 update and it's no longer online option for me. The stranges thing is that the patch has been released on 16-02-2003 and that's after version 1.2 has been released.

I think it is because of the 1.2 update, but I could be mistaking. So has anyone tried this patch and got it to work? And was it with the 1.2 version?

Have you tried going over to the official forums, and joining the queue about complaints over the latest patch.

Same thing here, darn it. :-(

I have no complaints over the official patches. Just the fact that I cannot run this software with out the CD. Even with 2 CD's it will not let me run it on another PC. I have a home network and want to set up multiplayer here. But I dont want to spend another $40-$50 just to do it if I already have it.
