Fitted an Apple2 mini chip into a pal V7 today. Tested it with the Kingdom hearts intro and FREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEZE! :eek: :( :confused:
Why is it, when a chip becomes compatible with all versions (Messiah2 exempt of course), it suffers!

GTA vice city froze for approx 4-5 seconds then carried on again, I can live with that!
Changed my view after further testing. FREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEZE :(

my view is booting process of the chips
messiah2 injects code at the right time
magic plus others constantly keep injecting the code

But the prob appears to be when chips are developed for all versions! Magic was perfect (in my opinion anyway) but as soon as its compatible with all.....................................
I believe Judas also brought out a universal chip which was withdrawn in favour of version specific mods!
Messiah have it sussed but maybe the others should keep things simple.
I would say the Apple mini is a Magic 3 (not 3.1) clone! and does not receive the 'two thumbs up' vote of confidence :(
