Hi Folks,
We had soem serious MP problem with Generals. First we tried to play over Internet through DirectIP, but the Client always time out. Then i tried to make a game in my lan with 2 Comps. I took 2 diff. Serials to avoid probs. Lan works perfect in any other way. When the client tries to connect, it is seen in the lobby of the server, but nevertheless times-out.
Both Firewalls in XPpro are off! No additional Firewalls, no Router, just a Crosslink-Cable!
Every Comp has a manually given IP-Address like 192.168.0.XXX. Both Comps are shown in Network-Tab.
