My brothers refurbished version1 ps2 that i have been trying to install a messiah 2 chip in actually works. Works just as well probably better than my v7 with a magic chip. After not being able to separate the powerboard from the motherboard i had almost given up. Then Charlie PS2 directed me to another forum where I found a guy who had the same problem. He had a link to a site that showed alternate points for SCex and clk that were on the front. Thanks Charlie.

Just watched Headly install a Messiah 2 in a V1, most doubted him that it would work but i never did. His dedication to perfection has paid off and I recommend him to anyone for installation needs! Good job old friend!

Now lets see how long $onys refurbished laser unit will last... Hopefully they made some improvements over the orignal V1 laser...
