can i backup ps2 dvd games with a cd burner

please any one i am new at this but if anybody could tell me how to back up my ps2 dvd games without a dvd burner as i can not afford one just yet i would be very greatfull:) :confused:

rip them to cd
its not easy
in fact its bloody difficult
if u search the net there are tutorials for most of the popular games
