After all the discussions, which is the best chip???

Hi, all
Any one can insurre that Magic 3.5 or Magic 3.6 is a good, reliable and harmless to PS2 consoles (V7) ???
coz, I beleive it's the easiest chip to be integrated within the console, .. Isn't it ???
Please tell me the drwbacks of the magic 3.5 , .. and I can't get also what is the major difference between both 3.5 and 3.6 versions.

The magic chips are harmless to your console but they aren't all too great. The only real difference between 3.5 and 3.6 is that 3.6 was supposed to add support for dvd9 games. There are still a lot of problems with the Magic 3.x mods. You can read charlie's review of it here (http://www.fileforums.com/showthread.php?s=&threadid=37089). It is the second to last post. If you want a superior chip, get a Messiah 2. It costs a little more but is problem free unlike the Magic. Send charlie_ps2 or dust2dust an email if your interested in purchasing a Messiah 2.

messiah 2 is the best chip out there hands, and pants down for the ladies out there

i had a magic 3.5, it worked pretty good, but it is worth the extra few bucks just to get a messiah, it works flawless (With a flawless install)
