I have made a back up copy of Vice City. I can play it for 3/4 hours at a time with no problems. Then another day it would stick 3/4 times. Why is that? I have used the media recommended to me form this forum and it seem to work ok. (yellow top Datawrite)

Do you by any chance have a Magic 3 mod chip in your system?

Dont know for sure all I know that the man that chipped it said it had 23/24 wires to sloulder (something like that) so it could be.

datawrite yellow are ok but in older v4 v3 weak lasers wont read them

not that i think this is your problem,but it could be if u left the disk laying around(sunlight,dust,dirt,grime) all make it harder to read


bloody magic3 freezing :)

install a switch to turn mod off once booted should sort it

There are some peeps m8 who will never admit after they have chipped ur machine that the chip is at fault!

Blaming the laser seems to be a favorite!

what would cause vicecity to have data errors in it and frezzez while playing i got a no solder chip do i need to re copy it useing record now on 1x i used priomo dvd 2x on ritek dvd to make last copie it lods but freezez
