hi!
Can i burn my backups to a cd-rw or must they be on a cd-r?
And by the way, which media should i buy? (cd-r and cd-rw)

And another question, can i copy my ps2 games with my VERY OLD yamaha burner?
it burns with 2*2*24
Or should i buy a newer burner?

most games are dvd-rom, thus you need a dvd burner

Yeah, i know, but for those games which are on a cd, can i use cd-r´s or cd-rw´s?

You need to use cd-r's as the ps2 cannot read cd-rw's. You probably can use your burner to burn games but i doubt it is compatible with clonecd, try Nero. If it's no good a new cd-burner will set you back about £40 and will be at least 40 speed.

The ps2 isn't very picky when it comes to cdr media. Almost any will do.

Most burners are clonecd compatible! Avoid DVD-ROM/CD-RW combo's.
Read the specifications on the box, if it states 'RAW' it'll work with clone.

We have now entered the DVD-R age! Pay the extra & buy a dvd burner (you won't regret it).
