I got told by a person who chips PS2's in Australia that by putting Messiah 2's on the new model PS2's out in Australia it puts to much stress on the laser and they pack them self as they arent as strong is this true?

And is the Magic Ultra 3 any good?

the messiah puts no stress on laser its the safest mod out there and by far the most reliable
