when I use cdrwin, I get a error message saying

Error : "Start DAO RECORDING command failed on device 1:0:0"
cuesheet was rejected by cdrom reader

I am using a cendyne a-05 (rebadged pioneer a-05) trying to burn a cd.
anyone have any solutions?

What version cdrwin you using? Sounds like you need a newer version since your drive isnt being recognized.

Yeah. Bighap right. Definitely a drive support problem.

Only trouble is to get a recent drive like you have recognise u will probably be looking at cdrwin5 which I found as useful as a bucket of brown sloppy smelly lumps.

Wot did u think of cdrwin5 Bighap??

I have heard nothing but terrible things about cdrwin5. It isn't even made by the makers of the cdrwin software(goldenhawk technology) I have read that it can really screw up your machine as well. I personally wouldn't even consider using this software. If you have a cd burner acuradan69, use that instead and it should be recognized.

I installed CDrwin 3.9C straight from the goldenhawk website and even the demo at 1X doesnt work=(

anyone have the a-05 burner have any luck burning bins?

I tried converting to ISOS but when I do that, it loses the track info such as mode and such and burns a coaster..
