Has anyone experienced any problems with this game using the Magic 3? I am worried that I will have problems with the Magic 3 installed. Let me know something. I had minor problems with freezing on Vice City.

Magic 3 is not the best of modchips. Data streaming games like GTA3, GTA VC, The Getaway do freeze with this chip but no Magic 3.1. It depends how fast you are driving! SO it's your fault!

:D Nothing to do with the chip, down to the driving!

Just for the record, with my Messiah or Messiah 2 I have no problems with all of these games

It simply amazes me that the Magic line of chips (mainly the 3 & 3.1) are having so many problems....

My ORIGINAL Messiah boots and plays ALL of the Magic 3 & 3.1 problem games with no problem and this chip was out LONG before the Magic 3 or 3.1....

Hmmmm.... Makes you wonder....:)

My version 7 ps2 with magic 3 works great i have never experenced any freezing but i was board last night and was reading up in some forums so i will prolly hook up a switch for my magic3 (just incase i run into problems in the future)!

Hi,
saw your post about magic 3 , this chip will give probs with GTA Vice City & The Getaway unless you have a switch fitted.
Had same probs with mine but took it out and replaced with a messiah no probs.

Bang goes the VC instruction booklet in favour of the highway code lol. It never freezes when u give the coppers a kick-in though :D
