Right should have this tomoz.
What i want to know is what jumper settings should i have it set on?
I currently have my Hard Drive on IDE and a CD Writer on IDE.
I do not really want to get rid of my CD Writer so can i slave the Pioneer off the CD Writer?
If i can and it will work fine what jumper settings will it need to be set on?
Thanks
Your Pioneer should be set to master. You can try putting it as a slave but you might run into problems.

What problems could i run into?
Could i do it the other way round then?
Put the CD Writer on the slave and the Pioneer on the master?
Would i still run into problems then?
Software might not recognize your drive or you will come up with errors. Setting you cd writer as a slave and your Pioneer as the master should work great. That is how I am set up.

Ok i think i'll do it that way.
So if i set my CD Writer on Slave and my DVD Writer on Master and then plug them in and turn on the PC it should just see them both?

I set my 105 as SLAVE. Been burning for quite a while with no problems.
Either setting should suffice.

Dude,
You don't need to buy a new PS2. Just buy a Magic3(cheaper) or Messiah2 and try to install it yourself. Not confident? THen get a professional to do it. Either way, it's still cheaper than buying a new system.
Just my 2-cents.

The laser will be crap mate, the Neo 2.2 breaks the laser so i will put a new chip in it and i will end up going buying a new drive for the ps2 or something.
