how do i dvd 2 vcd? [Archive]

hello people. I need help trying to convert my dvds to vcds. I tried using claddvd for ripping it and then using ripitall to convert it to avi, but the sound always gets mest up so i need someone to tell me either how to do it or tell me some other rippers and mpeg converters.
