Gta3 98

I have GTA3 on my pc, i have windows 98, but i have instead of letters blocks. I downloaded the file witch was in the readme of the game. But it's only for XP. Help??

You sure you on Win98? Not heard that problem with Win98, just WinXP.
Do these funny things happen when you install from the original cd, or just the backup?? If not, its a bad burn on your part.
Have you got all updates from Windows Update? Try updating your graphics card drivers and maybe updating DirectX.

If you have a Nvidia GPU, then go to www.nvidia.com

If you have a ATI GPU, then go to www.ati.com

Hi bambergrob, mind you, this is not a game _support_ forum, so if you're having problems with your (original) game then, please, consult the manual and/or call the official support. Also, if you need to update your drivers then read the manual you received with your video/audio/whatever card and/or call the shop where you bought them. Good luck,
