Any Really. I got a spool of 100 unbranded the other day and they read perfect on ps2 cd based games.

I think with improved methods of manufacture and cheapness of materials it's possible to get decent cdr media without spending a fortune.

If you want to spend a fortune use verbatim or traxdata cdr.

Yeah.... Its really NOT as important when using cd media......

The Ps2 can be much more pickier when using dvd media....

BG and Ottoman are both correct. The PS2 ain't as fussy as it is with DVD-R. I only use Datasafe for CD-R and the backups load quicker than my originals do! They are superb. I also purchased some Datasafe Printable DVD-R and they work flawlessly too, Games or movies, PS2 or Standalone - they are brilliant. I only use Datasafe now, they have a loyal, dedicated customer in me...

there are really good Riteks that come in packages of 500 for REALLY cheap.

i bought 2 of those, not one (that has been burned sucessfully) has failed me.

i have also used gigastorage, cursor extreem speed, verbatim, memorex, e3 works and some others, all work great.

but dont get black bottomed cds. they are really bad for ps2, the laser struggles. they might be better for psx, but not for ps2.
