i am new to the copying of PSX games. Is it possible to make a working back-up of PSX games which are not chipped and make these back-ups work on a PSX which is not chipped?
If so, what software would I need?
If there are any threads which may help me please tell me.I'm sorry if this question has been asked many times before.

Thanks.

At the top of this forum there should be a tread called 'Sticky: Back software tutorials' there are a number of programmes they show you how to use in there but i would personly suggest using CloneCD. The problem is that CloneCD does not work with all cd burners. CloneCD will make a 1:1 backup, which basicaly means it will work on a unmodded ps1. So if CloneCD does not work on your computer then for a second choice i would recomend CDR WIN. Problem with cdrwin is that you have to have a mod chip to play any games you copy with it. So far CloneCD is the only programme that allows you to copy ps1 games and play them on a ps1 without a modchip. Have fun with it mate and send me a msg if you have anymore problems.

you will still need a mod-device of some kind to boot your backup, apart from that spot on :)
