View Full Version : 4x dvd burning, is it a good idea to burn ps2 @ 4x?

without simlating or verifying, is it safe, ir should i stick to slow burning?

You can burn at 4x no problem.

do a couple with verifying to check. and check with the ps2. if it borks up then i guess you should burn slower... all depends on the media quality too remember.

if its fine then you could probly get away without verifying at 4x if you are confident with the media

Media quality is the BIGGEST concern when attempting to burn at 4X..... If you have GOOD media you should have no problems....
I have burned at 4X (dvd-r) on more than one occasion, and have had no problems, BUT I feel more comfortable burning at 1 or 2X...(Especially on a game with a VERY HIGH TOC).....
