Hi Guys & Girls

I have been browsing the net and have come across some info about making a disk that contains more than one game. But am unable to find any software to do it or any more information.

Anybody here now anymore about it, and could you direct me to the software.

Cheers Muchly :D

I currently have a PS2 game selector program....

Unfortunately, I haven't had time to test it to see if it works....
I may be able to try it out later today....

I'll let you know what I find.....

Hi

I dont suppose you have a link or would email the proggy. I have time to play at the moment and am getting bored :(

5 Games on one DVD really appeals to me. The added bonus that DVD Games seem to run alot smoother on my PS2. Don't know if that's the same for anybody else?

Please send me this proggy, I gotta have a go.

The selector can be found here (http://www.psx-paul.pwp.blueyonder.co.uk/apps/ps2gameselector.zip)

From the readme file included with the zip file

PS2 Game Selector - alpha version

1) You'll need to copy 2 (or more CDs) to a directory on your hard drive.
Hopefully the games won't share any of the same files or directories.
If they do, then this probably won't work.
I believe the PS2 has a 30 file limit per directory, so don't pick games
that have a lot of files in the root directory.
2) Use this system.cnf file. Ignore the other ones.
3) Edit the games.txt file in the following format: (1 line per game)
Game Name;executable

The executable is pretty easy to pick out. It usually has the word SCUS or SLUS in it.
If 2 games have the same name, you can rename one of them to something else. If you
are having trouble, look at the games systen.cnf file in notepad. (first line).
3) Build CD. I've been using the cdgenPS2 util I've included. Include all the files from all the games,
the main.elf, system.cnf, and games.txt included with this in the root.
4) Burn and Hope it works.
5) If it doens't work, oh well.
Full credit obviously goes to the guy who developed this, although he hasn't included his name within the release (from what I have seen).

I haven't had time to play with this yet, so please no e-mails or PMs asking "how to do this" etc. :)

It appeals to me too, however the fact is that is a lot tricker than it sounds where DVD checks are involved. Believe me, I have asked this question around a few homebrew/emu sites with no positive answers.

Hi Paul

Cheers for all that it's appreciated. I have been doing a few for the X Box and they are real easy to do, so wanted to see what it would be like for the PS2.

Will let you know if I have any luck :)

Hi Guys

Cheers for the file link. Did not work on the two games that I tested on but then I don't have that much time to spare.

Have just downloaded another proggy called PSX CD Builder.

Will have a go with this one at some point and let you know. Did a search on google to get the proggy. Installs in German though.

I hope I have more luck with this one :)

See Ya!
