h potter 2 patch [Archive]

Has anyone got/know patch for harry potter & chamber of secrets
pal version.I have no-solder mod & swap magic discs, i used adr patcher & ea universal patcher & a couple of others but still wont boot.
I have the bin&cue file on my hard drive,read in raw mode with cdr win on my yamaha crw 4416s scsi writer.

Some games won't boot behind the garbage swap magic. This is could be one of them. You would be better off getting a GS2 or AR2.

It does boot past the garbage part, it then goes onto a black screen with a grey diamond shape with a "B" on it in the bottom left corner?

I wasn't talking about the trash cans in the game. I was calling the swap magic disc garbage. LOL!

ok,just that sometimes when it boots up just before intro screen of actual game,the screen goes a bit mashed up. the picture of the swap magic screen is displayed distorted for a few seconds - then the game boots as normal, i thought u ment it hangs/crashes at that point.
and no, i didnt think u was talkin about trash cans in the game either,it would help if u explained it a bit better.or say what u mean ie:u think the swap magic discs are shit.

I wasn't aware Harry Potter had anything to do with garbage or trash cans until your first reply. So I checked out a walkthrough and found out it does.:eek: Ok swap magic discs are sh*t. Action Replay or Gameshark are much better choices.

why do u go on about garbage/trash cans???
In my first reply (as i explained)i enterpreted garbage as the messed up screen in the boot process.no offence but u must have a lot of time on your hands to go looking up walkthroughs or whatever!
anyway can u help me out by way of a patch for this game as i have a sh*t boot disc (but i am on a tight budget & need a backup for my son as he will no doubtedly scratch the game & i will have to fork out another 30 quid!!)

I wasn't sure what you originally meant by garbage so I did a search on the text of the walkthrough for garbage and trash(took two seconds for your info) and I got results so that's what I thought you were talking about. Anyways.... I'm not sure about resolving this. It could be a bad burn. Talk to Jay_83, he has the same setup as you.
