View Full Version : boot methods
I have just read the boot methods post for various chips. I recently bought a magic 3 system which i have now returned and had it replaced with a messiah 2 system.(gets here monday!) i have been told by the supplier that the boot method is the same as for magic 3 (reset etc.) This conflicts with the post here. Is there any way to be sure that chip is messiah 2?? Supplier is KANECTIONS. I have no reason to believe they are iffy.
Thanx
Gentle

YES.... It will boot all PS2 games without having to press reset....
For PS1 games and dvd movies, hold reset until the blue eject light comes on...

the magic 3 can work like that!!!!! but if you do use that method for gta vice city it will freeze. If u start from stanby with 1 click on reset gta:vice city will not freeze!
Hey Chris, I got my chip installed from there in hall 2 at the Fusion Computers stall - They do a fantastic job - Runs cool and not an ounce of trouble. You can't go wrong... They do have a link if anyone is interested. If so, just PM me...
Oh, and by the way, I have set up a post to report on the progress of the new PS2 Knowledge Bible, it should be around the first couple of pages... Hope this helps...
