' Signs ' DVD

Has anyone been able to backup/copy the DVD ' Signs ' (Mel Gibson)? The smallest I have been able to get this movie down to is 4.9 gigs... and that is with the extra features taken out. Maybe someone has burned it, and maybe i'm just doing something stupid...any help would be greatly appreciated.

ive got it to 3.9 gig and 4.41 with the audio and rempeg 2 wont load it up to reduce the size i dont know why

hi m8 yeah ive been able to copy it now using ccesp got it down to3.7 gig then used guipulldown to change the frame rate to 29 and things went fine and dandy

I backed up this movie.... I didn't want to re-encode it, so I just split it to 2 dvd-r's......
