I'm selling my Version 2 Thursday for a brand new PS2 how will i know my Ps2 is a Version 7 if its still in the box

i think stores are only allowed to sell the newest stuff but the box has the model number printed all over it. 39001 is ver7

Look for SCPH-39001 on the outside of the box. Thats a V7.
