This chip seems like a better version of the messiah 2... comments ? im thinking about waiting for this one, just need some feedback.

i just got a messiah2 installed no more than 2 weeks ago

id like to hear Charlies opinion on this 'revolutionary mod'

the only feature that seems pretty cool is the memcard booting procedure (Divx/MP3 etc)...but im sure sum1 will just release memory cards soon with these already on them..

Macrovision/Region Free seems useless as dvd-r/w's come more available, it removes the region settings, and if youve got it on DVD, theres no point putting it to VHS

Stealth Mode is already incorperated in the Messiah2

Maybe im just in denial that this chip is the best :confused:

Personally, im waiting for the PS2 Hardrive...then i may consider changing mods if its required.

actually, the feature i find the most fitting is the flash upgrades. You can keep updating your modchip data instead of the the actual mod chip which may save you lots later, or might be convient for fixes and such. Also, in perspective it is only $20 more then the messiah 2, a $20 i would easily be willing to spend. Just gotta wait for the release i guess...

Sounds too good to be true if you ask me! I feel the same way. I just got the M3 installed a while back and I am happy with it. But if I know something better is out. I will lose sleep over it!

yes, that too sounds like a good feature

im going to wait and see that all this is legit and performs as it says...im not going to rip out my M2 and get this only to realise it doesnt perform

im sure Charlie (and many others) will have a review when released

also got to keep in mind that this chip is only the best until something better is released

i really just want a chip that plays my backups and imports with no problems, i've seen a couple posts for every chip and i want there to be no "problem posts" for this chip..

Plus, a couple people have already told me this chip is looking great... we are just gonna have to wait and see... it retails the same as the magic 3.5 right now, so it's not looking to bad price wise i think. I just dont know if i can wait that long... a messiah 2 should do the trick :)

Everything gets superseded eventually...

If all the rumours/hype are correct, I will probably buy this chip down the track (as soon as finances allow :D )

Oh well, looks like everyones going to have to wait and see.
