Ripped off

Hi guys, l just sent off my PS2 to Bill @ www.freedomlives.com
l sent the console, (1) Messiah 2 Pro Modchip, and a money order for $74.00 to install the modchip, and have him send it back to me.
Bill from Freedomlives.com calls me today to tell me that the Console, the Modchip, and the money order were stolen.
l insured it through FedEx, now l'm waiting to hear from their claim department.
Use caution when dealing with this guy!!!!!!!

You are the only person to have somthing negative to say about Bill. It is not his fault it was stolen. Everybody who has used him here loves him, including myself. You should get your money back from fedex.

He was nice enough to call you and tell you what happened....He could have just ignored you.... If anything, you should thank him for telling you what was going on....

If the package was stolen or lost, it is FED EX's responsibility, NOT Bills...... That is the reason you had it insured....

l didn't say anything in my post blaming Bill. I'm glad he contacted me, I'm not trying to hurt his business. He even offered to send me a new Messiah 2 Pro chip and free installation. lf l can just get my money back for the console from Fed Ex, l'll be a happy camper. :(

Where in Houston do you live? There is a place right here in town that installs mod chips, but they provide the chip for you, which is a magic 3. The whole service cost about $140 I believed.

I have just finished reading a book about a man who gets involved with a girl from HOUSTON while living in London.

It's very good and it was called...erm...Man and Boy.

My advice is stop bitching, watch what you print about people when it maybe wasn't what you intended and enjoy the advice of the forum!

I ship around $750 of stuff a month through various so-called global carriers and they all lose stuff, all the time...they seem the real culprits here!:eek:

Just to let you all know, Bill has been fabulous to work with. He is really taking good care and concern for our situation. Don't hesitate sending anything to him, just do as he says and use US Priority Mail!!!!! This is just a freak incident that has happened, Bill is not to blame!

think about it Bill deals with hundreds of people why would they choose your machine. It was misshipped by fedex and bill giving you a free install and chip plus fed ex giving you your dough back. Does that sound like the art of a thief
