I do installs. I live north of Knoxville. It may be a bit far for you to travel but, I thought I would offer.

Send it to Bill @ freedomlives.com (http://www.freedomlives.com) .... He comes HIGHLY trusted and respected by MANY on this forum.... It doesn't cost very much to ship it to him.... You will be glad you did....

Not to say anything bad about the person that replied (jayzerus)... He may do VERY GOOD work.... Its just that Bill is KNOW on the forum.....

dont you have to buy some hefty insurance to ship it Bill @freedomlives? i remenber considering him, but decided that the insurance required for the shipping was as much as a new ps2 console. maybe i read wrong, or you dont have to get the ins. :p

No it's not that bad. I shipped my ps2 from Oregon and it cost about $16.

Does anyone know what Bill's standard turn-around time is?

Also, what's the best source for Messiah 2 chips?

Thanks.

It only took 5 days for me and Oregon is alot further away from Chicago than Tennessee is. But it also depends on how busy he is. Send charlie_ps2 or dust2dust an email and they can get you hooked up with a Messiah 2.
