Messiah 2 problems

I have a messiah 2 installed and am having difficulties playing backups. Some backups work, all are burned the same way(through praissi), but some dont work. They just freeze at browser screen or go to browser screen as if no disc is in it. This even happens to backups that I have already played before and it takes multiple tries(resets) to play. Anyone know why or how to fix this?

it could be the laser, could be the media your using, and could also be the modchip amond other things

somone more advanced than me should be able to help you...

A common reason is the use of 2x speed DVD-R media. Some brands, like White Label, are downright crappy on PS2.
