Verbatim burning speeds

Is it safe to burn verbatims at 1x? Or do they best play when a 2x burn speed is used? Thanks!

I do know that the princo's need to be burned at 1x only.

You can burn at 1x or 2x. Some people have smoother playing games when burning at 2x. I personally always burn at 2x.
