i just really want to get my PS2 chipped so i can play PSX/PS2 burnt games... i have a Version4 ps2, and im just wondering what's gonna be a good mod chip for it? ive always thought of getting those no solder ones, but they require the AR2 CD.. soo im plannin on getting one of those internal chips that require soldering, even though i dont have any experience wif that.. ill probably jus get someone to do it for me... can anyone tell me where to get a good one? thanks in advance

You definately want to get a Messiah 2. It's the best chip around. Send charlie_ps2 or dust2dust an email for purchasing info. They cost $68 and that includes shipping.

charlie_ps2 e-mailed me and said it dosen't work with Ver 6 consoles. What are people using for this one if Messiah 2 Pro won't work?

I have done a Magic3 on a ver. 6 USA and it worked fine. I like magic3's and the 3.1's are just as good as a messiah 2 in my opinion.
